PROJECT 2
A3 Poster

For this assignment, each student will individually select a building in Malaysia or Singapore, completed after 2005, and analyze how its design aligns with a specific UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) that no other group member is exploring. The work involves a physical visit to the building (with photo evidence), identifying relevant SDG targets and indicators, and evaluating how the building’s architecture supports these goals. Students must use their own images (over 50%), supplemented by properly acknowledged sources (limited to 10%), to create visuals and diagrams explaining key design strategies. The final submission, adhering to APA referencing, must clearly demonstrate the building’s contribution to the chosen SDG.
A1 POSTER
Reflection
During this project, focusing on a local heritage site, has refined my communication skills through group collaboration. It also honed research abilities, delving into the site's history and theories. The project emphasized effective time management. Balancing individual responsibilities within the group, meeting deadlines for research, documentation, and the creation of the A1 poster and A4 booklet demanded a disciplined approach to time.
