Project 1a
Pre-Design Studies & Analysis
Students are required to investigate and analyse the site and its context through observation, research, surveys, interviews, relevant readings, and precedent studies to understand its character, users, and existing conditions. Based on these findings, students must identify suitable programmes and develop appropriate design strategies that respond to the site. The outcomes are presented through a 20–25 minute group presentation, presentation boards, and a physical site model.

Reflection
Throughout this project, our progress was fairly consistent, and we managed to complete all the required work, along with an additional conceptual model. However, we were also able to make use of an extension to finalise everything.
