PROJECT 1C
MyReka-reasi Cluster

In this assignment, students are tasked with designing a Creative and Recreational Hub at Taman Wawasan that fosters a strong sense of community through thoughtful spatial planning and environmental integration. The project emphasizes the connection between space and commonality, focusing on end-users—particularly individuals aged 60 and above—to create architecture that supports social interaction, inclusivity, and well-being. Students must explore how natural and built environments, materiality, spatial typology, and sustainability contribute to community-building. The design should follow specified site constraints (setbacks and height) and accommodate approximately 900 sqm of indoor spaces, arranged in cluster typologies (radial, grid, or cloistered), with additional outdoor learning areas.
INTERIM 1

Students must develop and submit their design concept, which includes clearly articulated design intentions and concepts derived from the site context and program requirements. They should also present preliminary ideas on material selection, construction methods, and sustainable design strategies aimed at enhancing spatial comfort and environmental performance. This submission serves as the foundation for refining the design in later stages.
INTERIM 2

Students are required to submit an interim design that includes the earlier design concept and further development of spatial organization principles by selecting appropriate spatial typologies to create user-specific spaces and forms aligned with their design narrative. They must also critically analyse, synthesize, and integrate various aspects of knowledge—including context, user needs, materials, and sustainability—into a well-considered and creative design outcome.

Reflection
During this project, I learned that I should explore and experience more architecture to expand my knowledge. I am proud and happy with my outcome since this is my first time doing digital work flow.
