PROJECT 1
Diagramming Architectural Principles
In this assignment, students work in a group of 6 members, to research an assigned architect and their key buildings. They produce detailed architectural drawings on 8A3, 4A2 or 2A1 format, focusing on scale 1:50, and carefully render them. Then, they analyze the key building focusing on main design intentions, context, space planning, circulation & zoning, and structure. This analysis is translated into a set of 5 analysis diagrams and 5 diagrammatic models (12 x 12 x 8 cm), which precisely and informatively express the ideas hidden in the key building through diagramming architectural principles.

Reflection
During this project, I enhanced my critical thinking and problem-solving abilities by addressing the weaknesses present in my models. I strengthened the ordering principle within my models through a process of trial and error, consistently refining and reworking them.
